Well-being Week
Wellbeing Week 2019
Â
The week is designed to raise awareness of the 5 ways to wellbeing, empower our colleagues to look after their own wellbeing, and give information about where to find advice and support. Â All our Wellbeing Week events were free.
During wellbeing week, colleagues volunteered to give their skills and time at Caenhill Countryside Centre a charity that’s helping make a difference to many people’s lives. The charity provides opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and local school children to come together to learn about farming, food and animals. The team got stuck into a number of tasks that included painting a barn, soon to be converted into a community food kitchen, building new wooden seating, mucking out animal sheds and moving livestock to new shelters. Importantly, they got to find out about the charity and meet some of the people they helped including joining in with a Mangewurzels hurling competition to end the day!
